The war between the old and the new in Gaming Industry!
As Diablo 4 was released today on steam and globally on the market, There was a little bit of hype among diablo fans about the 4th installment of the diablo series. Hence Diablo 3 was "sort of" hated by the diablo community when compared to the glorious Diablo II, as some people in the community stated the game was not good except for the hack and slash gameplay of the game. Diablo II was a glorious game for the RNG (Random number generator), that was used to build maps, dungeons, drops and mods "stats" of the gear dropped. This mechanic was so loved by the community back then that pushed many people to try the "project human bot" where they go farming a high drop table (aka dropping good stuff) for like a 1000 times, which takes a lot of time to do (some go up to months actually). Which shows how the community loved this game and cared about it so much. As a new diablo game in the series was released today, the same thing happened like diablo III. People started comparing it to Diablo II. As Diablo IV doesn't have a full RNG system as Diablo II, as the map is majorly fixed. But this time actually the community thinks Diablo 4 is good, and I think it is actually a good game. Yes, some Diablo II die hards won't like the game, but this is for the general good of the series. But Why do you think?
Well, the answer is very simple. Blizzard wants the game to be more casual and to be more appealing for the normal hack'n'slash fans. Using a good gameplay mechanics, lots of combat and a somewhat good story, this is probably a good way to get a good AAA game into the market. As Diablo 4 is more of a casual play rather than a diablo die hard game. The story of the game is meh! good. Some characters like Lilith and Mephisto. Oh boy! Mephisto is probably my favorite character of them all. with good lines here and there and the shape of a wolf, this is what a good "Super evil of Hatred" looks like. Lorath too, continuing from Diablo III story is here and has so good voice acting. Overall the game is good, combined with great graphics that keeps the game looking good. This is a good game. Diablo community had to admit it!
Most of Diablo community that tried Diablo 4 stated that Diablo 4 is a good fun game. Yes, it is different from Diablo II in many different ways, but "modern solutions require modern problems". We are surprised how Blizzard is giving its best for the franchise. Maybe Diablo II defined the genre, but Diablo 4 is modernizing the genre to appeal to more people in the world. and by far, the world is in love currently with Diablo 4. and if you want to meet mother Lilith in person, you had better use the Diablo 4 mouse from Amazon
