  Brutal John, The Most Brutal Ever With the awesome comeback of the boomer shooter FPS genre into the scene, There are many studios entering the hall with big dreams and efforts, and today's game is a prime example. With the market starting to get the fun out of the fast paced games, many new indie studios are jumping into the scene for this genre, and many more are getting there quickly and efficiently thanks to the commercial game engine market. With Unreal Engine, Unity and the newest Godot Engine, most of indie games were made possible. A more new title is added to the pirate world, introducing BUCKO

BUCKO is a third person pirate game that has a lot of elements from sea of thieves. WindRose Studios, the devs of the game, decided to take a new turn for the game adding more creativity with building ships and houses on islands you plunder. You fight enemies, visit populated pirate community cities to buy and sell stuff you find and use to build treasuries and much more. The graphics are good and the game has good aesthetics. The environment in bucko is massive, alive and just looks good. the map has many islands with different sizes to discover. Once you hop into and island, you may discover a treasure, after you find the treasure enemies attack you suddenly to steal the treasure from you and so on. The gameplay looks well in the trailer and it was promised to have a CO-OP up to 4 players. If the devs make it a split screen adventure, this is going to be a big hit in my opinion. The scenery looks great, you can explore old ruins on long uninhabited islands and solve puzzles to get into more adventures. A feature implemented in the game is that it will have house building/crafting mechanism. I guess it will look like minecraft survival gameplay which for me is not bad. You plunder and search for materials, then use those materials to build houses. I hope there are things that can be crafted more than houses in the game, as this is what is in the trailer of the game.

The Verdict

Bucko is a great game, offering fun CO-OP, with good  ideology and scenery. the game is still under development. The trailer was recently released on the MathChief's YT channel here. We all should support the devs by wishlisting the game on steam.

RAIDBORN review RAIDBORN is a indie cup finalist indie game developed by Phodex Studios. This game will be a FPS action adventure indie experience with great story and intuitive gameplay.
