For Quake fans, HROT is getting in shape enough for the world

HROT is a great game inspired by Quake for the boomer shooter fans HROT is a fast paced action FPS with the look and feel of old Quakes. Developed by Spytihnev, utilizing the GLScene library with a proprietary engine to give the players the feel of gameplay mashup of Chasm: The Rift and Quake. But this one is big, with gameplay and atmosphere like no other. HROT was in early access in 2019 and got to see the full release in May 2023 with a full playable 3 episodes like no other. Once I launched the game, I got that eerie feel when playing quake. This is an atmosphere like no other and I believe boomer shooters are making a big come back and HROT is a prime example of how. The war between the old and the new in Gaming Industry! As Diablo 4 was released today on steam and globally on the market, There was a little bit of hype among diablo fans about the 4th installment of the diablo series. Hence Diablo 3 was "sort of" hated by the diablo community when compared to the glorious Diablo II, as some people in the community stated the game was not good except for the hack and slash gameplay of the game. Diablo II was a glorious game for the RNG (Random number generator), that was used to build maps, dungeons, drops and mods "stats" of the gear dropped. This mechanic was so loved by the community back then that pushed many people to try the "project human bot" where they go farming a high drop table (aka dropping good stuff) for like a 1000 times, which takes a lot of time to do (some go up to months actually). Which shows how the community loved this game and cared about it so much. As a new diablo game in the series was released...

Dread Templar, new indie fps game review

Dread Templar, developed by T19 Games, is a new indie old school shooter. Dread Templar reminds me of games like Quake 3 and similar retro old school games. This game surprised me when I played it. Fast paced controls, challenging enemies and soo much more to tuckle on your journey through the campaign. For today, we will tackle this gem in the fast fps genre. This is Joey on the GamerFlux indie blog. Dread Templar is generally a fast paced high octane speed FPS indie game inspired by the classic DOOM. The game uses the aesthetics of old retro games like classic DOOM and so much more, though Dread Templar is made a more modernish look overall. Dread Templar is an indie game meaning it was made with a small team and limited budget. Yet all of this, the game just impressed with the fluency in the game. Firstly, the tutorial is really good and fun. It helped me at least to get the controls of the game. The mechanics of the game kinda reminds me of DOOM 3/2016. The game generally utilises ...
